What I’ve planted in my Agroforest in Portugal | Fruit Trees, Swales & Alley Crops
In this video I show you one of my agroforests on my permaculture farm in Portugal. I’ve planted rows of fruit trees on swales, with grape vines in between the trees. Between the swales are alley crops, and all around the agroforest are nurse trees that block wind, attract beneficial insects, repel pests and bring in vital nutrients (nitrogen fixers and dynamic accumulators).
