We were so close to getting the barn roof finished… but the final section turned out to be much trickier than we’d expected.
This week at our Irish homestead, we carry on working on the new barn roof as well as getting ready for the next stage of our sunroom renovation. But as Sam gets closer to the middle of the roof, we realise we’ve got a problem — there’s simply no safe way for him to reach the final section.
So, rather than take any unnecessary risks, we have to stop and work out another way to finish it.
As always, there are plenty of jobs, problem-solving and everyday life here at our old cottage in rural Ireland.
