Planting and Harvesting in June | Garlic Harvest and Outdoor tomatoes
In todays episode at the allotment in south wales. I show you how to harvest and store garlic. Although the garlic is being harvested a month earlier. This is a preventative measure to ensure the allium rust doesn’t affect the summer onions and leeks growing close by. There is no cure for allium rust so you need to act fast to stop it spreading.

Straight after the garlic was harvested, the no till bed was prepared, fed and watered. The outdoor tomatoes, which consists of crimson crush, a classic blight resistant tomato. Nagina. An outdoor plum variety. Which im hoping will become my canning tomatoes for winter sauces. In the summer i will show you how to can your produce to last you all year!
