Cottage Garden Makeover | Fixing Design Mistakes & Preparing for a Stunning Spring Display | Glow-up

In this week’s video, I’m taking you along as I revisit one of the newer areas in our garden — the cottage-style border that I’ve been developing over the past couple of years. It’s early spring, and the daffodils, hellebores, and tulips are just starting to bloom… but before this garden can shine, I need to fix a few things that didn’t quite go to plan.

From removing invasive plants and unwanted self-seeders, to transplanting a young peony and reclaiming overgrown borders, I’ll show you the real-life garden jobs that help keep this space beautiful and practical.

If you’re working on your own flower garden, or dreaming of a romantic, pollinator-friendly space filled with colour, I hope this video gives you inspiration (and maybe a few ideas of what not to do too)!

🧤In this video: – Spring weeding & perennial care
– Fixing design mistakes from last year
– Removing invasive plants (like yarrow & crocosmia)
– Soil prep & transplanting tips
